Washing machine making noise during the spin

Sometimes the washing machine starts making a lot of noise when spinning the laundry. The problem may be associated with the failure of some parts, small objects falling into the case, or incorrect. The task of the owner or technician is to figure out why there is noise when spinning at high speeds and to fix the malfunction.

Reasons for loud noise

If the washing machine is in spinning mode at high speeds and begins to make loud sounds and move, you should not hesitate the cause and solve the problem. It will worsen and lead to the failure of the device. To begin with, the owner can try to determine why the machine is making noise on his own. Sources of loud sounds can be:

  1. Objects caught in the drum and breaking against the glass of the hatch, for example, buttons, fasteners, stripes,
  2. Foreign bodies stuck in the space between the drum and the tank,
  3. Shipping bolts not removed.
  4. Worn-out bearings, which caused the drum rotation axis to shift,
  5. Unadjusted device legs or the absence of linings under them,
  6. Instability of the drum counterweight,
  7. Faulty damper.

Transport screws

When transporting washing machines, their tanks are fixed with special bolts to exclude damage to home appliances before use. Sometimes mechanics remove the transport bolts and forget to unscrew them.

As a result, the first time you turn it on and spin it, the device starts to noise. Therefore, experts advise before operating the equipment to make sure that there are no bolts, usually located on the rear wall of the machine.

  1. Disconnect the device from communications.
  2. Position it in such a way as to facilitate access to the rear wall.
  3. See if it has large head screws.
  4. If found, unscrew.

After checking the above list, the machine installation is prepared to place and start washing.

Is the machine installed evenly?

Sometimes the washing machine makes noise because standing on an uneven surface. During operation, vibrations occur, and the device jumps.

Solution: Adjustment of the legs, control nuts, and rubber pads. To level the hull, use a building level. Sometimes a washing machine is built into furniture or a wall niche.

The bearing assembly is worn?

Bearing wear can have several causes. The most common of these are drum overloads and long service life. If the washing machine used for more than five years, the bearing assembly is inevitably worn out.

Masters to check the health of the bearing disconnect the washing machine from the mains, open the hatch, turn the drum to the sides, and at the same time swing it strongly. If a creak appears, the breakage is changed.

Foreign bodies in the tank

Small objects such as buttons, coins, and bra bones may get into the drum during washing. Sometimes they wash off on their own into the snail.

Foreign bodies removed as follows:

  1. Turn off the device,
  2. Pull out the powder receptacle,
  3. Water drained through a garbage filter,
  4. The washing machine lowered to the left side,
  5. Loosen the clamp through the bottom, remove the branch pipe,
  6. Through the hole that opens in the tank, an object is taken out.

Something happened to the counterweight.

The washing machine makes noise due to a loose upper counterweight. It loosens due to vibration. To fix the problem, remove the housing cover of the disconnected machine and check the condition of the mount and counterweight.

When the stone is damaged, the weight is changed. Instead of concrete, it is permissible to use steel or cast iron if 1.5 kg heavier. The service life is longer. At the same time, excessive weight of the load increases the load on the dampers and reduces the time, so do not take a stone that exceeds the native weight by 3 kg or more.

The damper is out of order.

If the shock absorber fails, the centrifugal force is not effectively damped the washing machine rocks and knocks. The elimination of the problem is to replace the damper.

They produced as follows:

  1. Turn off the device,
  2. Pull out the compartment for detergents,
  3. The washing machine lowered to the left side.

Technicians advise replacing shock absorbers in pairs. To do this, You need to remove the plastic clips, screws, and defective elements. A new one installs instead. Such a repair allows you to eliminate noise when the machine is operating at high speeds and to extend its service life.
